Keith Beggs

Funeral Director

Keith with his twin brother Kevin grew up in the funeral business working with their father the late E. Carlton Beggs.  Through values instilled by his father, Keith realized the importance of respecting those families who trusted his family in their time of need.  Born in 1968 and the son of Ellie N. Beggs and the late  Carlton Beggs, he attended Lincoln County High School and graduated in 1986.  He then attended Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science in Decatur, Georgia.  Keith's experience in the funeral industry includes following with his father at a young age, and serving families at Horis Ward Funeral Home in Atlanta while attending mortuary college. He had begun working at M. W. Callaway & Sons Funeral Home after graduation which later became Beggs Funeral Home.  Sometime later Keith moved to Thomson to take over management of our location there.  It was during this time that our Thomson location moved to the present site on Cobbham Road. Keith has been married to his wife, Candy, for 22 years. They have two children, Chase Norman Beggs and Carrington Parris Beggs.
