Mr. William Marion Bell “Mr. Billy”, 86, Thomson, Georgia entered into eternal rest at his home on December 4, 2021.
Mr. Bell was born on November 18, 1935, in Tennille, Georgia. Mr. Billy was co-owner of the Brier Patch in Thomson, Georgia for 22 years. He was a craftsman, loved woodwork and loved birds. Mr. Bell loved people and never met a stranger. He was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh, being outdoors, and sitting on the front porch.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jonette Bea Wiggins Bell and his parents, William Bell and Ruth Gilbert Bell. He is survived by his Daughters, Beth Downs (Keith) and Beverly Thompson (Kevin); his son, Benjamin “Bengie” Bell; his grandchildren, Lauren Bell, Bo Bell, Brandon Downs, Brooke Downs and Brycen Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Jackson “Jack” Downs and Georgia Downs.
A gathering of remembrance will be held this Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at his residence on 427 Manassas Drive, Thomson, Georgia 30824. Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family’s personal guestbook.
