Mr. William Fain, 77, of Delhi Road, Tignall, Ga. entered into rest on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Fain, son of the late Friskco and Nelda Scott Fain, was born on June 2, 1944 in Wilkes County where he lived all of his life. During his career, he worked for Eagle Granite as a rock quarry foreman and didn’t retire until he was 76 years old.
His interests included working on his farm where he raised beef cattle and gardened. He attended Tabor Baptist Church.
He will be greatly missed by his family whom he loved dearly. They include his wife, Elaine “Kitten” Hall Fain; son, Ken Fain of Tignall; daughters, Melissa Shelton and husband John of Washington, Sharon Bailey and husband Carl of Tignall; brothers, Mitchell Fain, Ronnie Fain and wife, Charlotte, Phillip Fain, Tony Fain, Randy Fain; sisters, Jackie Echols and husband Neill, Dianne Bufford and husband David, and Lisa Broome; seven grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
