Tommy Lamar Hinton
Thomson, GA – Mr. Tommy Lamar Hinton, 76, entered into rest August 21, 2019.
Mr. Hinton, a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA, was the son of the late Edward Lamar Hinton and the late Mabel Combs Hinton. He had worked for Western Auto, owned & operated a Phillips 66 service station, drove for Velstar, was a school bus driver, and retired as a Kiosk operator for Mistletoe State Park. Mr. Hinton was a member of the First Baptist Church Men’s Outreach Sunday School class and attended Boneville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his companion, Carla Howlett; son, Tommy Hinton (Gina) of Williamson, WV; daughters, Tammy Reese and Angela Tullis (Jason); stepsons, Marcus A. Wilson and Kyle A. Wilson; stepdaughters, Aubrey A. Cavitt and Mia E.F. Anderson; 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Boneville United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Miller officiating.
