Steven Davis Shelton, 58, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on May 7, 2022.

Steve was born in Thomson, Georgia on March 10, 1964, grew up in Thomson, Georgia, graduated from Thomson High School and lived all his life in Thomson, Georgia.  He was Baptist by faith and a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.  Steve was in construction by trade, was owner-operator of S & M Subcontractors, Inc. and was a subcontractor for the Remnant and Rug Shop.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working  with “perfection” and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Harrison Shelton and Barbara Davis Shelton and his brother Wayne Harrison Shelton.  He is survived by his wife, Ginga Shelton; his daughter, Harley Shelton Sidwell (Brett); his brother, Mike Shelton (Nancy) of Dearing; his grandson, Mason Bentley Redman; his niece, Christen Willcox (Chris); his great niece, Savannah Kate Willcox and his great nephew, Logan Willcox.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, Georgia and is being officiated by Rev. Rodney Dunaway.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service.  Pallbearers for the service are Heath Rogers, Hunter Rogers, Holden Rogers, Matt Smith, Austin Smith and Alan Paschal.  Honorary Pallbearers are Sidney Smith and Andy Rodgers.
