Sharon Neislar Gibson, 77, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2023, at Piedmont-Augusta.
Sharon was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on September 18, 1945, grew up in Arkansas, spent most of her adult life between Alabama and Georgia and moved to the Thomson area about five years ago. Her profession was a nurse assistant and healthcare technician, and prior to her retirement, she was employed by Georgia Regional. Sharon enjoyed helping other people, volunteering, serving, walking, exercising and spending time with her dachshund, “Toby” and specially loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Neislar and Merry Ready Neislar and her son, Robert Lee Hannah. Her survivors include her brother Dale “Bo” Neislar; her sister, Gloria Ann Turner; nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Her Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia. Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family’s personal guestbook.
