Mrs. Sharon Kay Stewart, 71 of Savannah Lakes Village, McCormick, SC entered into rest on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 1 o’clock p.m. at The Lutheran Church By The Lake, McCormick.
Mrs. Stewart was born on November 29, 1949 in Petoskey, Michigan. She was known for her crafting- both knitting and sewing and could always be found in her craft room or with her bag of knitting projects. Her joy was in teaching others her craft as well as creating gifts for all. Other interests include Alaskan animals, especially puffins, bears and sea otters.
She was always there for her family to talk to and help see the brighter side of things and give advice. Rarely did a week go by that she didn’t call with a new recipe to try and she felt that new recipes and food can solve all things. She was a happy energetic person that could never sit still and lived life to the fullest.
Her father, Charles Waldron preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Howard E. “Butch” Stewart; daughters, Heather Honey Stewart of Kodiak, AK, Serene Laura Husler of Boyne City, MI, Joanne Kay Christian and husband Marco of Anchorage, AK; mother, Florence Kominski; brother, Rodney Waldron; sisters, Rosie Kessler and Lisa Carlson; grandchildren, Jordan Husler, Hunter Christian and Brooke Christian.
