Sandra “Sandee” Jean Williams
Covington, GA – Ms. Sandra Jean Williams, 68, entered into rest October 15, 2019.
Sandra was the daughter of the late Gene Miller Williams and the late Dorothy Fiew Williams. She grew up in Houston, TX where she began her singing ministry. As a solo gospel singer, Sandra travelled extensively singing at hundreds of churches and concerts. She produced numerous albums and appeared many times on national television including the Jerry Falwell’s Old Time Gospel Hour. Sandra held three Masters degrees and a Doctorate, was the Dean of Student Affairs for Dallas Baptist University, a professor at Luther Rice Seminary and was a licensed counselor. In her later years, she owned and operated Georgia Intervention Alternatives. Sandra was a member of the First Baptist Church of Conyers.
Survivors include her brothers, Randall Williams (Julie) of Martinez, GA and Tim Williams (Joy) of Leesburg, GA; and nieces and nephews, Reagan Williams, Judson Williams, Brittney Williams, and Ashlyn Cruz; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the Lawnwood Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Covington, GA with Rev. Steven Peebles officiating with entombment to follow.
