Rev. Donald Hix Brady, 86, beloved husband, father, and minister, passed from this life to his heavenly reward on Saturday, March, 05, 2022 at his home in Lincolnton, Georgia. Rev. Brady, son of the late Tom Brady and Mamie Bradly Brady was born on December 15, 1935 in Rutherford Co., North Carolina; but lived most of his life in Taylor, Michigan and Lincolnton, Georgia.
Rev. Brady met his wife, Mary Lou, with whom he raised a family and shared a ministry with, at Brookes Bible College in St. Louis, MO, and they were married on July 30, 1954. He was the Founding Pastor of Faith Temple, later Faith Community Church, in Lincolnton, Georgia and Pastor of Full Gospel Christian Center, in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. From 1954 to 1997 Rev. Brady evangelized in many churches throughout the South East, inspired many leaders in the faith, and led countless souls to God during this time. His legacy in the Kingdom of God will echo for generations to come.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou; sisters, Reba and Mary (Doodle), and brother, John.
He is survived by sons, Joby Brady, and wife, Sheryl of Frisco, Texas; Thomas Brady, and wife, Evelyn of Lincolnton, Georgia; Timmy Brady, and wife, Lora of Lincolnton, Georgia. He is also survived by Seven Grandchildren; Eleven Great-grandchildren.
