Rebecca Orlene Tapley, 65, Dandridge, Tennessee, entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2022.
Rebecca was born in Waynesboro, Georgia on May 17, 1956, and grew up and graduated and lived most of her life in Waynesboro, Georgia. Her career was in Home Health Care, and she also worked in private care and formerly worked for the Thomson Company. She was Christian by faith and a member at White Oak United Pentecostal Church in Thomson, Georgia. Rebecca loved life, enjoyed caring for others, singing, crossword puzzles, shopping and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
Rebecca is preceded in life by her parents, Eldridge Atkinson and Bessie Amerson Atkinson; brother, Glenn Atkinson and her great grandchildren, Addalyn Grace Turner, Brooklyn Faye Turner, Paizlynn Jayde Barker, Brantlyn Cory Wayne, Bretleigh Mae and Madyx Lee. Her survivors include her sons, Wayne Neal (Carla) and Shane Neal (Jessica); her daughters, Paulette Barlett and Chastity Sparks (David); brother, Travis Atkinson; her grandchildren, Heather Turner (DJ), Rebecca Barker (Chris), Owen Sparks, Bessie Sparks, Elijah Weidner, Jordan Shane Neal, Harper Jane Neal and Savannah Grace Neal and her great grandchild, Gracelyn Turner.
A Visitation will be held at White Oak United Pentecostal Church, 2182 White Oak Road, Thomson, Georgia on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with her Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4:00 p.m. and being officiated by Rev.
