Mr. Randy Arnold Post, 67 of Savannah Lakes Village, McCormick, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 12 pm at Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave., Lincolnton, Ga. A viewing will be held beginning at 11 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Post, son of the late Marion Albert and Alice Farrugia Post, was a native of Detroit but actually grew up in Lincoln Park, Michigan where he graduated from high school in 1971. In the year following, he served as an airman aboard the USS Ranger in the US Navy during Vietnam. He retired from Aquilla Printery. He and his wife Christine moved to McCormick, South Carolina a couple of months ago.
He was a man who loved to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in many ways including teaching Sunday school, preaching in several other ministries for many years, distributing Bible tracts, handing out blessing bags to the homeless, and stopping to help others even if it meant being late or giving them his own scarf and gloves. His favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 3:5-6. He loved his wife dearly and took wonderful care of her through her illness.
He will be missed greatly by his family, friends and loved ones including his wife of 41 years, Christine Brennan Post; children, Clinton Post and wife Lori, Jeremy Post and wife June; grandchildren, Emily Post, Kara Post, Abigail Woodruff, and Alaina Post; siblings, Rodney Post , Richard and Cheryl Post,Roger Post, Renee and Gene Thompson and Roberta Post. In addition to his parents, his brother, Robert Post and sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Post preceded him in death.
