Pat was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County, GA and the daughter of the late Robert Lunceford and the late Alma Norman Lunceford O’Neal. She worked with Washington Loan and Banking many years and retired as the office administrator for the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Department with 23 years of service. Pat enjoyed collecting antiques, growing flowers, walking, and watching NASCAR races. She loved her family, friends, and her cat, “Izzy.” She was a member of Phillips Mill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by husband, Billy Newsome; stepdaughter, Mary Floyd; and brother, Kenneth Lunceford.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Walter Tuttle; son, Rob Newsome (Rhonda) of Washington, GA; stepdaughter, Catiel Felts (Charlie) of Navarre, FL; sister, Sandra O’Pry (Henry) of Athens, GA; grandson, Jacob Newsome, step grandchildren, Ariel Thilenius, Lynsy Floyd, and Brandon Dornberg (Kayla); step great-grandchildren, Jackson Dornberg and Avenleigh Price; stepson-in-law, Obie Floyd; sister-in-law, Mary Donna Lunceford of Washington, GA; niece, Holly Blackburn (Marvin); nephew, Bob Lunceford (Elizabeth), and great-nephew, Brett Lunceford, all of Washington, GA; brothers-in-law, William Tuttle of Dothan, AL and Leland Tuttle of Washington, GA.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Phillips Mill Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Mark Woods officiating.
