December 21, 1928 ~ June 24, 2022 (age 93) 93 Years Old

Mrs. Orena Talbert Cooper, 93 of Bethany Church Rd., Lincolnton entered into rest on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 2pm at Bethany United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cooper, a lifelong resident of Lincoln County was the daughter of the late George Dewey and Carrie Bell Talbert. She had worked for Oxford Manufacturing until they ceased operations in Lincolnton and then managed the Jewelers Bench, Lincolnton for many years. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church where she had served as Sunday School Teacher and member of the Missionary Circle and Lay Witness Team.
She is survived by her sons, Bob Cooper and wife, Linda, and Dean Cooper; grandchildren, Stacey Cooper Radford, Josh Cooper, Brittany Cooper, Casey Jo Gowan and husband, Tyler; great grandchildren, Hudson Radford, Sydney Radford, Joel Cooper, Braylen Ashmore, Brielee Gowan, and Nicclanette Denton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Orena was preceded in death by her first husband, Joel Robert "Joe" Cooper and later by J.R. Scott; grandson, Joel Robert "Trey" Cooper, III and siblings, Elizabeth Reed, G.D. Talbert and James Talbert. Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton is honored serve the family of Mrs. Orena Talbert Cooper.
