Mrs. Nellie Lou McGee, 78 of Partridge Town Rd., Lincolnton, Ga. entered into rest on Friday, April 30, 2021.
Mrs. McGee, daughter of the late Benjamin T. Goldman and Mary Jo Edmunds Goldman Hamilton, was born in Lincoln County on January 24, 1943. She grew up in Lincoln County, and graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1961. Almost 50 years ago, she went to work in the real estate profession and later opened her own business, Broad River Realty which she ran for many years. She had been a member of St Paul United Methodist Church when she was younger and attended Faith Community and Jones Chapel until her health failed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Janis Dawkins; brother, Ben Goldman; husband, Jim McGee and the father of her children and first husband, Ellis Partridge.
She is survived by her sons, Samuel Kent “Ken” Partridge and wife Amy, James Kevin Partridge (Kendra Hodge) all of Lincolnton; brothers, John S. Goldman and wife Julie of N. Augusta, SC, and Gerald Goldman and wife Carol of Lincolnton; sister, Helen Bridges and husband, Wade; grandchildren, Joshua Partridge, Lydia Partridge, Naomi Partridge, Eli Partridge, Sadie P. Morris, and Presley Partridge; great- grandchild, Madelyn Morris.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 3pm at St Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery.
