Tamiko Shavette Parks had a gentle soul. She was born on April 25, 1976 in Augusta Georgia to John Thomas & Lillian Grace Willingham Parks. She entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2021 in Augusta Georgia at University Summerville Hospital where she fought a good fight and finished the course.
She was baptized and joined Rehoboth Baptist Church at an early age where she worshiped faithfully. Her spirit was sweet and radiant with love. She was genuine and loved unconditionally. Whenever she spoke, it was with words of kindness and love and/ or about a hamburger. She attended the Lincoln County School system and graduated with the class of 1995. After high school she attended Georgia TASC in Washington & Thomson Ga. until the pandemic. She was an Entrepreneur that loved to baby sit, clean houses, dance, drive her golf cart and be in the midst of her family and friends.
Tamiko’s life was filled with passion, zest and love that will abide with us always. Her presence, her smile, her laughter, her dancing and her sweet “diabetic” tea would brighten up any room. We were blessed to be a part of her life. Her gentle soul, we will miss dearly. But you and Marcy are locked safe within our hearts. We know you are dancing with the Lord.
Tamiko was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Andrew & Lillie Ree Elam Parks and maternal grandparents Robert & Florence Inez Willingham. Uncles: Andrew Parks, Benjamin Parks, Joseph Parks, Robert Benning, Walter Harris, Marvin Glaze, George Green, Joshua Marshall and Buddy Thomas. Aunts: Inez Benning, Mary Ella Green, Hattie Thomas, Martha Marshall and Evernell Elam.
