Loretta Cofield Alley
Thomson, Georgia – Mrs. Loretta Cofield Alley, 78, entered into rest September 20, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Alley grew up in Tarversville, GA and was the daughter of the late Lonnie Cofield and the late Hazel Hobbs Cofield. She was a seamstress who made a legion of friends among her customers and a member of First Baptist Church, Thomson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Alley was predeceased by her husband, John Mack Alley, Sr. and grandson, Jonathan Alley.
Survivors include her sons, John Mack Alley, Jr. (Janice), Ricky Don Alley; daughter, Vicki Alley Neal; sisters, Francine Patterson, Myrna Cofield; grandchildren, Shannon Temple, Victoria Alley, Kelly Branan, Emily Neal, Stacy Neal, and great grandchildren, Alley Kernaghan and Aubrey Branan.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2017 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Lambert officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
