Logan Connor Etterle Obituary

McDuffie County

Logan Connor Etterle, of Thomson, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the young age of 21.  He was a loving son, who leaves behind two parents that love him more than words can express.

Logan was known for his enormous heart, listening ear, gentle spirit and zest for life.  He enjoyed skateboarding, football, was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, loved helping others, and especially loved hanging out with friends and spending time with his family.  He had a heart for children, the elderly and people with disabilities.  He felt the need to always look out for others and was concerned for their happiness and well-being.  He always put others ahead of himself.  Logan was excited about his future and had made many plans.

He graduated from Harlem High School in 2019 and attended Middle Georgia State College.  Logan was Baptist by faith and a member of Sharon Baptist Church.  He worked in medical transport operations and was employed by Square One Medical Transportation.

Logan is survived by his parents, Christopher Edwin Etterle and Lisa Toole Etterle; his brothers, Russell Sammons (Stephanie) of Adrian, GA and Blake Etterle (Anastasia) of Mount Pleasant, SC; his sister, Emily Sammons of Sylvania, GA; and nephews, Noah Sammons and Gabe Sammons; and his niece, Abby Sammons.  He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Eddie and Karen Etterle of Appling, GA and maternal grandfather, Roy C. Ellis of Millen, GA, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He also leaves behind a large circle of friends that meant the world to him.  He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Moses E.
