Leo Bolin
Appling, GA – Mr. Beechie Leo Bolin, 74, entered into rest November 22, 2019.
Mr. Bolin, born in Pitts, GA, was the son of the late Beecher Duice Bolin and the late Sarah Elizabeth Hart Bolin. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and Texas during the Cuban Missile Crisis, 1961-1964. Mr. Bolin was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the Lord and was a self-sacrificing man who never complained and was a friend to many. Mr. Bolin enjoyed cooking, gardening, woodworking, and cherished his dogs. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church in Lincolnton, GA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bolin was predeceased by his brother, Danny Hart Bolin.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 35 years, Faye Bolin; sons, Michael Bolin, “Jerry” Anthony Bolin, Stephen Ronald Brown, Evan Lee Bolin, and Jerald Josey; daughters, Berkeley Faye Bolin, Susan Brown Padgett (Jimmy), and Lauren Brown Thompson; brothers Joe V. Bolin (Martha Sue Bryant); sister-in-law, Sue Egger Bolin; grandchildren, Sarah May Bolin, Chandler Elizabeth Padgett, Chloe Padgett Turner (Joe), Randall Bolin, Harley Barrick (Roland), Carson James Padgett, and Beth Bolin; and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Fernandez officiating. Interment will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Beggs Funeral Home.
