Larry Richard Reeb, Jr.

Mr. Larry Richard “Oink” Reeb,Jr, 59 of Crook Rd, Lincolnton passed away on June 20, 2020.

Larry was born on February 11, 1961 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He has resided in Lincoln County, Georgia for the past 35 years.Larry was known by his friends and family as “Oink” and can be described as a Jack of all Trades. You could always find him tinkering around the house enjoying the simpler things in life. Oink became an avid hunter early in life where he loved to pursue wild game of all sorts, including deer, turkey, duck and hog. He was grateful for all of his harvests and enjoyed being able to process his own wild game to provide for his family. Throughout the years Oink raised his 3 children to be exceptional outdoorsman as his father had taught him. Oink bestowed in his children the qualities that many lack today.  If you could not find him in a tree stand or on the rugged terrain, you could find him at a body of water looking for his next big catch. If ever to tell the real story his best game of all was playing “Golf” on his Nintendo Wii or hitting an eight ball into a corner pocket. Oink loved life to the fullest and was always looking forward to his next adventure. 

Oink is survived by his loving wife, Debra Michelle Reeb; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Broadrick of Vero Beach, FL; sons, Larry Richard Reeb III and wife Lisa of Chicago, IL; Thomas Christopher Reeb and wife Victoria of Lincolnton, GA; Mother Sandra Delafchell (Howard); sisters, Peggy Ann Carruth (Leland) and Georgeann Reeb of Lincolnton GA. Grandchildren Audrey Broadrick, Gracey Broadrick, Carson Broadrick, Pheona Efstathiou, Paisley Reeb and Ashlynn Reeb. Along with a host of nieces and nephews and many friends that were his “bonus family”.He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Richard Reeb, Sr. 

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the Lincoln County Industrial Park, 1110 Commerce Dr., Lincolnton, Ga.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
