Larry Dye, 68, Thomson, Georgia – Entered into eternal rest on May 17, 2022 at Doctor’s Hospital Augusta. 

Larry was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, GA and the son of the late Sterling Dye and the late Margaret Guy Dye. He worked at Thomson Company for many years and retired from the City of Thomson Street Department. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking.  Larry was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kathy Langham Dye; sons, Chris Dye (May), Lee Dye all of Thomson; daughter, Diane Hawkins (Steven) of Dearing; and grandchildren, Stevie Hawkins, Cody Hawkins, Amber Hawkins, Kattie Nelson and Kimmie Nelson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Friday, May 20th at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock, Saturday, May 21st in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Dunaway officiating. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
