Lanny Claxton Bryant

Mr. Lanny Claxton Bryant, 71 of Wallace Wells Circle, Lincolnton entered into rest on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 2 pm at Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.

Mr. Bryant, son of the late Dudley Bryant and Ida Lee Martin Bryant, was born on December 28, 1948 in McCormick, SC.  He grew up in Lincoln County and graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1967. Following high school, he went to work at Monsanto in Greenwood, SC and retired after 34 ½ years of service. He was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church and an avid Lincoln County Red Devils and Georgia Bulldogs football fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Bryant and grandson, Ashton Andrews.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Cook Bryant; daughter, Tiffani B. Andrews and husband Ashley of Washington; sisters, Kirby B. Prather of Sumter, SC and Jene B. Maloof of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his grandson, Alex Andrews.
