Mr. Kimet Nolan Woolsey, Sr., 59, of Thomson, Ga., passed away January 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Kimet was born in Ft. Hood, Tx, on November 9, 1961 to James Woolsey, Sr. and Brunhilde Otte Woolsey. He worked for Newsome’s Electric, where his job was to rewire electric motors. Mr. Woolsey was a jack of all trades, he could do just about anything, he was always reading books on how to do different things. Kimet loved fishing, cars, drawing and especially rock n roll music.
Mr. Woolsey was predeceased by his mother, Brunhilde Otte Woolsey; and a sister, Denise Greene.
Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Karen Woolsey; two sons, Nolan Woolsey (Katelyn), Everett Humprey; two daughters, Brooke Huff (Scott), Zoie Humprey; three brothers, Clark Woolsey (Roxie), Jim Woolsey (Susan), Kevin Woolsey; three grandchildren, Millie Woolsey, Camden Woolsey, Zaiden Smith; a mother-in-law Patricia Forbes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, Thomson, GA with Rev. Andy Collins officiating.
A visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home, an hour prior to the service.
Per the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org.
Per CDC requirements the family will be observing social distancing and masks are requested. Due to the current national health concern, the family would appreciate all phone calls, cards, texts, and e-mails.
