Mr. Kermit Edward House, 87, Warrenton, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2021.

Kermit was born in Akron, Ohio on July 19, 1934, grew up in Akron, graduated from Springfield High School and lived in Akron until age forty-two when he relocated to Warrenton, Georgia with his work.  He was Christian by faith and a member of First Baptist Church Warrenton.  Kermit loved serving his Lord and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. House is preceded in death by his parents, Kermit C. House and Edna Harris House; his sister, Margaret Scherer, and his granddaughter, Chrystal Williams.  His survivors include his wife, Jackie Spears House of 65 years; his sons, Greg House (Sherry), Randy House (Teresa), Barry House (Jamie) and Matt House (Olyvia); his daughter, Stephanie Gilmer (Michael); his grandchildren, Chad House, Sabrina Burnett, Nikki Farr, Jessica Farley, Breanna Phillips, Cameron House, Boone Gilmer, Slade House and nine great grandchildren.

His Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Warrenton and his Funeral Service, being officiated by Dr. Brandon Furr, will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Warrenton with the interment at Westview following the service.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family’s personal guestbook.
