Joseph C. “J.C.” Langham
Mr. Joseph C. “J.C.” Langham, 88, of Thomson, GA went to be with his Lord on July 12, 2020 at Lake Crossing Health Center.
Mr. Langham was born and raised in Warren County and moved to Thomson when he married the love of his life, Tinye Annette Palmer. J.C. was the son of William C. (Press) Langham and Kate N. Langham and brother to 11 siblings. Growing up on a farm he learned the value of Faith, Family, and hard work at a young age.
Through the mentorship of his brothers J.C. became a talented and respected brick mason, owning his own business for over 50 years.
Mr. Langham loved his Lord and served many years as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, later moving to First Baptist Church Thomson in the 1980’s. J.C. enjoyed sharing his faith, time, and possessions with others so that they could experience the love of Christ through him. He was an avid gardener, growing roses and just about any other plant or vegetable he desired. Most importantly though, J.C. loved his Lord and his family. His favorite scripture from God’s word was 1st Corinthians 13…. The greatest of these is love. In addition to his parents, Mr. Langham was predeceased by his beloved wife, Tinye Annette Palmer Langham and daughter, Tinye L. Harding and her husband, Ron Harding.
