John Vincent Davis

John Vincent Davis, 67, Thomson, Georgia,  devoted and loving husband of Jennifer Nicole Davis, entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Davis was born in Manchester, Jamaica to the late William Evers Newman and Icy Whitby Newman  He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Tractor- Trailer operator. Mr. Davis enjoyed traveling, cooking, music, dancing and watching the Washington Nationals play ball.  A dream of his was to one day be a Pilot.  With his generous heart, he was a lifetime member of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

As his favorite ball team, the Washington Nationals would say, “See Ya Later”.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer Nicole Davis;  two sons, Richard and Marcus Davis;  his ex-step-daughter, Raven Washington; and two grandchildren, Tiera Davis and Taylor Davis;  one sister, Viviene Clarke;  and the parents John knew, Burnice Collins and Agatha Collins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 9, 2023 at his residence, 434 Johns Road, Thomson, Georgia  30824, beginning at Noon with a brunch being served from 10:00 a.m. until Noon.
