Mr. Jeffrey Patrick Cook, beloved husband of Beth Usry Cook, went home to meet his Father on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Jeff was 59 years old. Jeff was born to Jackson Bailey Cook and Carolyn Guillebeau Cook on July 4, 1962.
Jeff was born in Thomson and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Thomson High School in 1980 and remained a devoted Bulldog fan. After high school, Jeff worked for Piggly Wiggly and went on to enjoy a 35 year career as the International Administrative Manager with EZ-GO/Textron. His job took him around the world and he visited many international cities. He loved the travel, the meeting of people and the experience of eating food from other countries. Jeff was a Christian and a member and Deacon at Sweetwater Baptist Church. He was a patriotic, giving and loving family man.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his wife, Beth, of 35 years; sons, Ryan Cook (Marcia) of Manassas, Virginia, Austin Cook of Harlem, Daniel Cook of Thomson, Georgia; his grandchildren, Lyrik-Ann Cook, Olive Cook and Jeffrey Cook; his sister, Jackie Horne (Skip); his brothers, Paul Cook (Kathy), Michael Cook (Jean); his nieces, Kay Chalker (Brad), Summer McDonald (Charles), Kathryn McClure (Gunn); his nephews Winter Cook (Katie), and Scott Cook; his great nieces and nephews, Kalli Crafton, Tanner Chalker, Emmalyn Cook, Jaxon Cook and Ella Jane Cook; his aunts and uncles, Alvin Guillebeau (Weebie), Joe Ann Guillebeau, and Frances Corwin (Richard).
His Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 3:00-4:00p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home. Jeff’s Celebration of Life Service, will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia, being officiated by Dr. David Lambert, with his interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Center for Primary Care, Augusta Oncology, University Hospital Augusta, Augusta Lung and Regency Southerncare Hospice. Jeff also wanted everyone to know very proud and happy he was to have such excellent care.
