Jeanelle “Jennie” Phillips, 41, of Evans, Georgia, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
Jennie grew up in Mitchell, graduated Glascock County Consolidated High School, earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Georgia Southern University in Child and Family Development and earned her LPN Degree at Augusta Technical College. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Grace Baptist, Evans, Georgia. Jennie enjoyed watching her children play sports, Disney World, celebrating holidays and loved her dog, “Cooper” and especially loved her family and friends. After Jennie was diagnosed with cancer, she became an avid fundraiser for Miracle Mile.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 14 years, Erik Phillips; her parents, George “Allen” Underwood and Gail Kitchen Underwood; her son, Mason Phillips; her daughter, Kendall Phillips; her sister, April Clark (Chris); her nephews, Carson and Colton Clark and niece, Caroline Clark.
Jennie’s family will receive friends at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and a Celebration of Life will be held in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
