Jane McCorkle Chalker, 94, of Warrenton, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was the wife of the late Calvin Emory Chalker of Glascock County. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas “Tom” McCorkle and Fannie Lou Young McCorkle; her son-in-law, Dwight Neal, and her eleven siblings.
Mrs. Chalker spent most of her life living in Glascock County after marrying Mr. Chalker. After some time, they moved to Warrenton where they joined First Baptist Church of Warrenton. She was a proud member of the Laura Lee Sunday School Class. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with friends, and spending time with her family. She always had those around her laughing and never left a crumb on her plate. She especially enjoyed attending church and devoted her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
