James Herman Norman, 48, Harlem, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2022, at his residence.

James was born in Augusta, Georgia on July 26, 1973, grew up in Thomson, Georgia, and graduated from Thomson High School.  He was Christian by faith and an active member of Trinity Baptist Church, Grovetown, Georgia.  James loved Georgia Bulldog Football and would have loved the Championship Ballgame.  He loved being outdoors, grilling and golfing.  James especially loved spending time with his son, Colbey, his wife, family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Norman and his father-in-law, James Neal Foster.  His survivors include his wife, April Foster Norman; his son, Colbey James Norman; his mother Janice Moon Harrison (James); his brother, Jay Harrison (Audrey); his sister, Becky Cowart (Robbie); his mother-in-law, Priscilla Foster; his sister-in-law, Kim Foster; and his nieces and nephews, Tucker Foster, Rylee Foster, Harrison Cowart (Riley Penn), Addison Cowart and Hayden Cowart.

A memorial service, being officiated by Bro. Seth Straughn, will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia.  A gathering for visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family’s personal guestbook.

In lieu of flowers, the family request the memorials be made to the college fund for the benefit of (FBO) Colbey Norman at Edward Jones, c/o Caleb F. Kidd, 506 Main Street, Thomson, Georgia  30824.
