James Elton Tam, Jr.
Mr. James Elton Tam, Jr., 74, of Louisville, GA entered into rest Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Tam was born in Augusta, Georgia but lived most of his life in Louisville. He was the son of the late James Elton Tam and Ladessa Usry Tam. James was retired from Georgia Power as an area manager. He attended Old Bethel Baptist Church in Louisville. Mr. Tam was a very loving husband and adored his loving wife, Dana. In James spare time, you often could find him hunting arrowheads to add to his collection. James sang in a quartet, loved hunting and was a member of Stonewall Masonic Lodge of Louisville.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Dana L. Tam; two daughters, Lisa Tam Buckner and Tracy Tam; three sons, Jon Tam, Scott Robbins, and Lance Robbins; three brothers, William “Billy” Tam, Gary Tam and Stanley Tam; two sisters, Brenda Jean Hughes and Shirley Gail Kelso; grandchildren, Kate Tam and Justin Chalker; and his best friend Denny Barrow. He had two younger brothers, Perry Tam and Michael Tam, both deceased.
A Celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 02, 2020 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Fincher officiating.
If so desired, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
