Rabun; brothers, R.T., Roy, James, Emory, Leon, Emile, George, Willard and Allen; sisters, Virginia Nobles, Geraldine Hall, Mary May and Robbie Crosby Brooks. She adored attending the annual May-Heath family reunion, talking and reminiscing with many of her 39 nieces and nephews. Inez was a faithful Christian who taught many years of Sunday school and volunteered with the Prepare a Meal program.  She was a member of Raysville Baptist Church.

As a homemaker, she loved sharing time with her family and taking care of them. Inez was an avid artist and crafter, known for her ceramic Christmas trees and sewing skills.  She was a voracious reader and self-published writer of her memoir, “May Child”.  She also worked as a teacher’s aide at Norris Elementary School, arranged flowers at Richards Flowers and Gifts, and worked at Chardan. In 2002, she was awarded the McDuffie County Senior Citizen of the Year for her tireless volunteer efforts, including teaching reading for the Adult Literacy Program. She loved playing cards and board games, flowers, birds, the beach, mountains and camping.
Inez was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
