Grady Key
Warrenton, GA- Mr. Grady Key, 73, of Warrenton, GA entered into rest May 20, 2020 at University Hospital in Augusta.
Grady was born to the late David Key and the late Lucille Kelley Key. He and his family lived in Sandersville, GA and at 12 years old they moved to Thomson where he lived until 1992. Grady retired from the East Georgia Housing Authority in Warrenton, GA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making Gospel Music while playing guitar and singing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church. In addition to his parents, Grady was predeceased by his wife, Joann Key and grandchild, Chloe Key.
Survivors include his son, Joey Key (Jodie), Teresa Pullen (Daryl) all of Thomson; brother, James Key of Dearing, GA; sisters, Gwendolyn Key of Warrenton, GA and Frances Hobbs of Dearing, GA; grandchildren, Shelby Key, Brian Keith Pritchett, Priscilla Pullen and Kaylee Lyles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 24, 2020 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Pastor David Kitchens officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Kevin Taylor, Luke Deraney, Don Wiggins, Chad Hillard, Robbie Meadows and Ray Hale.
Friends may call the residence of Joey and Jodie Key at 207 Carroll Street, Thomson, GA or the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
All services will be in accordance to law with the current National State of Emergency.
