Mr. Gerald Watson McGahee, Jr., 48, of Dearing, Georgia, entered into rest March 27, 2021, at his residence. 

He was born in Washington, Georgia and is the son of the late Gerald Watson McGahee, Sr. and Lois Ann Swanic McGahee.  He grew up in McDuffie County, lived in Hilton Head, Florida and Georgia.  While living in Florida he was a General Manager with Wendy’s Restaurants.  His current employment was with Open Leaf CBD.  Mr. McGahee loved baking, gardening, antique shopping and especially loved his family.

Mr. McGahee was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Diann Swalk and Angie McGahee.  He is survived by his brothers; Jeffrey Gray, Jr. of Hephzibah, Georgia;  Tom Rosa and Bob Rosa of Michigan and Billy Gray of Camak, Georgia; and his sisters, Debbie Rosa of Michigan, Rhonda Holliman of South Carolina, Shanda Hall of Thomson, Georgia and Mandy McGahee of Thomson, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021 with Rev. Andy Collins, Officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.
