Mr. Garnett Allen Weaver, 79, Lincolnton, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2022.
Mr. Weaver was born in Washington, Georgia on April 11, 1942, and lived in McDuffie and Lincoln Counties. He was Methodist by faith and a member of Boneville United Methodist Church. He was a truck driver by trade and a farmer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved people and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents, W. Garnett Weaver and Marcia Bailey Weaver and his sister, Ruth Adkins. His survivors include his daughters, Ann Weaver, Jan Weaver, Karen McCorkle, Sharon Sankey and Stella Ashmore (Steve Ashmore); his sister, Marilyn Freeman; his grandchildren, Kelvin Prickett, Kimberly McCorkle, Richard McCorkle, Kala Morris, Bailey Crosby and B.J. Crosby; and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from Noon until 1:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, and his Funeral Service, being officiated by Pastor Rodney Dunaway, will follow at 1:00 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia with the interment at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens following the service.
