Mrs. Frances Kendrick Holloway, 90 of Morningside Assisted Living, Evans, Ga. entered into rest on Monday, October 11, 2021.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2 pm at Martin’s Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton.
Mrs. Holloway, daughter of the late Luther and Katie Mattox Kendrick was born on July 11, 1931 in Lincoln County. She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and was retired from Oxford Manufacturing as a supervisor. Also, she was a member of Martin’s Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church where she had served on the hostess committee, cleaned the church for many years and was a member of the Women’s Ministry. Following retirement, she enjoyed travelling and had toured 45 countries including all of the continents with the exception of Antarctica.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Holloway and wife Dayna of Snellville, Earl Holloway, Augusta; daughter, Beverly K. Holloway of Augusta; sister, Ouida K. Stinson of Augusta; grandson, Matt Cunningham and one great- grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Manly H. Holloway, brother James Kendrick, sister Gene Harris and grandson Scott Cunningham.
