Fran Deason

Miss Betty Frances “Fran” Deason, 57 of Augusta Hwy., Lincolnton, Ga. entered into rest on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at University Hospital Augusta.

Miss Deason was born in Washington, Ga. on August 14, 1964. She grew up in Lincolnton and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at the Lincolnton Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years. Also, she graduated from Wilkes Academy in 1982. Recently, she had been a member of Word of Life Church and Jones Chapel. In years past, she had been a caregiver for many elderly people and had been employed by Lake Crossing as a certified nursing assistant for 20 years. Her father, James E. Deason, Sr. and brother, James E. “Eddie” Deason, Jr. preceded her in death.

She was a kind, gentle Christian soul that will be greatly missed by her mother, Mary Frances Mayson Deason of Lincolnton; brother, Richard Deason and wife Christine of Saluda, SC; nieces and nephew, Ashley Deason, Kara Deason and Matthew Deason; special friend, Freddie Edmunds.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 3pm at Lincolnton Baptist Church with interment following in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton.
