Mrs. Elizabeth Fendley Williford, 87 of Fendley Dr., Tignall, Ga. entered into rest on Friday, January 14, 2022.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 2 pm at Beulah Baptist Church with interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 pm until 9 pm on Tuesday evening at Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave., Lincolnton, Ga.
Mrs. Williford, daughter of the late George B. and Lessie Mae Turner Fendley was born on October 2, 1934 in Wilkes County, grew up in the Beulah community and graduated from Tignall High School in 1956. She had been employed by Thomson Company as a seamstress and later retired from the quality control department. For many years, she and her late husband, Ralph Williford lived in the Amity community of Lincoln County. Following his death, she moved back to her family home place in the Beulah community of Lincoln County. She loved her family, reading books and really enjoyed talking on the telephone. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her step- daughter, Joy Holz and brothers, John Bob Fendley, Floyd Fendley and Bennie Lee Fendley.
She will be greatly missed by her niece, Tracey Fendley Turner ; great- nephews, David Turner and Cordell Turner; great- great nephew, Bradyn Turner along with her step-son, James Williford; and step- grandchildren, Nicole Partridge and Mahaley Parks.
