Mr. Dean Frederick Voshell, Sr., 77, of Warrenton, Georgia went to his final resting place at his Residence on February 24, 2021. He was born in Belwein, Ohio on December 7, 1943. Mr. Voshell is preceded in death his parents, Harold Voshell and Elizabeth Johnson Voshell and his step-son, Gregory Kotler.
Mr. Voshell is survived by his wife, Pauline “Polly” Voshell of Warrenton, Georgia; his sons, David Voshell (Kathy) of Woodstock, Georgia; Dean F. Voshell, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana; his step-children, Steve Kotler (Marie) of French Settlement, Louisiana, Eleanor Jacobs (William) of Thomson, Georgia; his sister, Peggy Nestle of Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Michael Voshell, Daniel Voshell, Sharon Adair; and step-grandchildren, Christian Kotler, Ashley Kotler, Jeremy Jacobs, Brian Jacobs and Aiden Jacobs; and great grandchildren, Echo Adair, Tara Adair and Jeffrey Adair.
Mr. Voshell grew up in Wisconsin, spent four years in the Navy and then enlisted in the Army and retired 16 years later with 20 years service. He worked at Kingsley Mill, Advance Auto, Auto Zone, and A1 Auto. He loved spending time with his family and friends, working in his yard and riding motorcycles. Mr. Voshell was Baptist by faith and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Visitation Services will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia 30824.
A Memorial Service is being held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Dearing United Methodist Church, Dearing, Georgia.
Per CDC requirements, the family will be observing social distancing, and masks are requested and appreciated. Due to the current national health concern, the family would appreciate phone calls, cards, texts, and e-mails.
