David Robert Stevens, 66, Grovetown, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2022.

David was born in Augusta, Georgia, on September 7, 1955, grew up in Augusta and Martinez, Georgia, graduated from Evans High School and lived most of his adult life in Columbia County, Georgia.  He was Baptist by faith and a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church.  David was married to his beloved wife, Lindia Lefler Stevens for 40 years.  He loved NASCAR, Georgia Bulldogs Football, hunting with his grandsons, fishing with his daughter and grandsons, reading and painting with his granddaughter, and loved just spending time with his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Dr. K. C. Stevens.  He is survived by his wife, Lindia Lefler Stevens; his mother, Bobbie Duckworth Stevens; his daughters, Ericka Stevens Gilstrap (Johnny) and Kellie Stevens Aguliar (Cona); his sister, Wanda Hensley; his brother, Michael Stevens (Lula, companion); seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with his service to follow in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m., with Mr. Jim Brooks officiating.  His interment at Belleview Memorial Gardens will follow the service.  Pallbearers for the service are Cona Aguilar, Jared Barron, John David Gilstrap, Johnny Gilstrap, Jackson Krecskay, Jason Krecskay, Michael Stevens, and Mike Thomas.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family’s personal guestbook.
