Corydon "Cory" Wesley Haley

Corydon "Cory" Wesley Haley, 28, of Summerville, SC entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Cory was born on June 28, 1992 in Augusta, GA, a son of Rhonda Marcale Haley. He was a large equipment operator for Gulf Construction Company. Cory loved riding motorcycles with Lowcountry IMRG and friends, bowling at Sandpiper Lanes on the team Shennigans, playing the guitar and singing at the top of his lungs. He was mechanically inclined, a huge animal lover, and was always cutting up and making everyone laugh. Cory enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting and especially loved his family.

Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Haley of Summerville; his fiancée, Bri Webb of Summerville; one son, Chad Haley of Goose Creek, SC; three sisters, Whitney Hutcheson (Corey) of Golden, MS, Amber Blackmon of Sumter, SC, Morgan Whaley of Sclo, NY; one brother, Gregory Blackmon, Jr. of Sumter, SC; grandparents, Ron and Karen Haley, of Appling, GA; uncle, Adam Haley of Appling; nieces and nephews, Aiden & Wyatt Hutcheson, Autumn Freeman, Dallton Deal and Nathan Haley. Cory was predeceased by his great grandparents, Pete & Margaret Goldman and Owen & Polly Haley.

Visitation will be held at Sharon Baptist Church, 6262 Cobbham Road, Appling, Georgia 30802 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 and the Funeral Service being held at the Church beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Andy Collins, Officiating.

Per CDC requirements, the family will be observing social distancing.  Masks are required and appreciated.  If you are uncomfortable attending, the family would appreciate your phone calls, cards, texts, and e-mails.
