Cohen Edward Pate, 19 of Lincolnton Rd., Washington, Ga. entered into rest on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 2pm at Resthaven Cemetery with social distancing guidelines observed.
Cohen was born in Athens, Ga on May 17, 2000. He grew up in Wilkes County and attended school at Nathanael Greene Academy where he lettered in football and graduated in 2018. Cohen was a member of County Line Baptist Church but his church was the great outdoors. He loved being outside doing anything that involved him getting his clothes dirty. He loved to hunt, fish, and takes things apart just to see if he could put it back together. He loved working on cars, lawnmowers, tractors, basically anything with wheels. He had a few jobs from driving heavy equipment to working on trucks. He was working mainly on finding himself. He loved to make people laugh and wanted to take care of everyone but himself. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and the Georgia Bulldogs.
He is survived by his parents Keith and Michelle Armour Pate; sister, Courtney P. Germany and husband Jordan of Washington; maternal grandparents, Louie and Shirley Armour of Washington; aunts and uncles, Tommy and Karen West of Crawfordville, Rick and Pam Cox of Spartanburg, Michael and Lee Armour of Newnan, Ga; cousins, Gracie Armour of Newnan, Will Armour of Newnan and Alicia Cox and daughter Bella of Piedmont, SC.
