Bobby Armour, a lifelong mechanic and resident of Rayle, GA passed on June 18th, 2022 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, GA.
Bobby was a soft-spoken and simple man, a “fixer” of all things broken, one that was always seen in his boots and John Deere or Chevrolet hat. He always said wherever Ma goes, (his wife) I go. He was crazy about his grandchildren, his dogs, and loved to plant and tend to his fruit trees and fig bushes.
Bobby was a husband of 51 years to Deborah Armour, was the son of the late Frank and Elzora Armour of Rayle GA, brother of Jerry Armour (Obine) of Hull, GA, Louie Armour (Shirley) of Washington, GA, and Douglas “Bardahl” Armour (Pat) of Rayle, GA. Along with his brothers, he is survived by his children, Joseph Christopher Armour (Kristy) of Shelton, WA, Dwayne Armour of Rayle, GA and Heather McEathron of Rayle, GA; grandkids, Amber Armour of Shelton, WA, Rebecca Armour of Rayle, GA, Rae Leigh Armour of Rayle, GA, Lilly Armour, and John David McEathron of Rayle, GA; great-grandchild, Lucy Boschee of Shelton, WA. and his nephews and nieces that he loved as if they were his own.
The family asks that you dress comfortably for the graveside that will be held on Saturday, July 9th, at 6:30pm at County Line Baptist Church in Oglethorpe County, GA. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or plant of some type in his memory.
Beggs Funeral Home, 200 May Ave., Lincolnton is honored to serve the family of Bobby Armour.
