Billy Eugene Parris

Billy Eugene Parris, 77, of Wagon Wheel Rd., Warrenton, GA entered into rest May 2, 2022 at his residence.

Billy was born to the late Ollie John Parris and the late Elizabeth Palmer Parris. He was a 1963 graduate of Thomson High School and a lifelong resident of McDuffie and Warren County.  He retired from DPS as a construction worker after many years of service. Billy enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, Billy was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann Parris and daughter, Debra Ann Luke.

Survivors include his son, Terry Josey (Marchelle); brother, Bobby Parris; sister, Linda Gheesling; grandchildren, Casey Luke, Evan Luke (Tawny), Jennifer Pulliam (Lance), and great grandchildren, Autumn Grace Pulliam, Bobby Lee Jenkins, Madison Jenkins, Brooklyn, and Leyannah Bosselman.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Richardson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside.
