Thomson, Georgia – Mr. Bill Anderson, 91, entered into rest December 15, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Anderson was born in Augusta-Richmond County, but lived in Thomson most of his life before moving to Warrenton. He is the son of the late Juddie P. Anderson and Emmie Benton Anderson. He was a retired truck driver for Kimberly Clark.
He enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, Nascar racing and camaraderie with his many friends. But he especially loved helping his family and was the best daddy ever! He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Usry Anderson and sister & brother- in-law, Claudia (J.E.) Edmunds.
Survivors include his son, Billy Anderson, Warrenton; daughter, Patricia Burnley (Rob), Thomson; five grandchildren, Amanda Anderson, Jennifer Cartledge (Mack), Will Anderson (Danielle), Lindsey Burnley Conatser (Aaron), Phillip Anderson; five great-grandchildren, Hannah Gulsby, Haley Gantt, Mackinlee Cartledge, Rubye Lee Cartledge, and Blake Conatser; very special family friend Kay Douglas; special caregiver Sandra Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers are Will Anderson, Phillip Anderson, Jack Garrison and David Lampp.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larron Pilgrim officiating.
Due to the current national health concern, the family would appreciate all calls, cards, texts, and e-mails. The family will observe social distancing and mask are encouraged.
