Beth Stringfield Obituary

Mrs. Beth Aloma Stringfield, 76 of Partridge Town Rd., Lincolnton entered into rest on Monday, January 30, 2023 in her husband’s arms and her family at her side. She was reunited in Heaven with her daughter, Angelia Stringfield Clark and husband Clay, grandson, Eli Clark, great grandson Bryce Driver and siblings Nelly Mae Holly and Susan Hutchins.

Mrs. Stringfield, daughter of the late John and Virginia Adams Holly was born on April 28, 1946 in Augusta where she grew up. She went on to graduate from Key West High School and later from Augusta Technical College.

Roy and Beth began their married life on October 3, 1961, in Augusta, Ga. then traveled to Guam and throughout the United States with her husband’s career in the US Navy and FAA.  A little over 20 years ago, they moved to Lincolnton where she has been an active member of Lincolnton Baptist Church and the Hattie Legg WMU Group.   Aside learning from her love and devotion for her husband of 61 years, her children appreciate her having raised them in a Christian home while teaching them valuable lessons in life… from art to mechanics. Her versatility was such a gift to her kids. She was an exceptional seamstress and upholsterer. When she wasn’t working, she loved traveling, antiquing, and researching her genealogy. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her love but her husband, Roy was the light of her life.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Roy Stringfield; children, Rick Stringfield (Cassy) of Evans, GA,

Randy Stringfield (Lisa) of Los Alamos, NM, Jon Stringfield (Lisa) of Evans, GA, Joey Stringfield of Lincolnton, GA; grandchildren, Josh Stringfield (Arica), Jared Stringfield, Rhea Alligood (Jonathan), Sam Stringfield, Chase Stringfield (Casey), Cody Stringfield, Caleb Clark(Ciara), Allie Driver (Jared), Seth Clark, (Keele), Kylie Stringfield; 12 great-grandchildren, numerous adopted grandchildren and siblings, Sara Lieb, Carol Hooks, and Bob Holly (Alice).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 1 pm at Lincolnton Baptist Church. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
