Xara Johnson Usry, 88, entered into rest on Friday, October 28, 2022, in Warren County.

Mrs. Usry was born on November 8, 1933, in Warren County. She was the daughter of the late Forrest and Lorene Johnson, and was a life-long member of Johnson United Methodist Church. She retired as a seamstress with Garland Knitting Mills and Health- Tex for 31 years. She was a devoted wife and wonderful mother.

She is survived by her husband, Eston C. Usry, of 71 years, her daughter, Judy Johnson (Randy), Warrenton, Ga., and her loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November, 1, 2022 at Johnson Cemetery in Warren County, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jessica Blackwood officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Chalker, Randy Usry, Donald Kitchens, Joey Kaney, Tommy Johnson, and Shawn Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Johnson, Larry Johnson, Joe Shurley and Lawrence Johnson.

Proverbs 31:25,28,30 – Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
