Mr. Woodrow H. Boutwell, of Ashmore-Barden Road, entered into rest on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at his residence.

Mr Boutwell, son of the late Homer and Foye Kemp Boutwell, was a native of Enterprise, Al.,served in the US Army and lived in Florida before moving to Augusta in 1968. Following retirement from Burris Chemical Co, he moved to Lincolnton.

Uncle Woodrow enjoyed reading Christian books, working crossword puzzles, fishing and was an avid Dale Jarrett NASCAR fan.

His family said, " He loved spending time with his family, helping others, and was always encouraging."

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Boutwell, sister, Jannie Wiggins, and brothers, William Boutwell and Johnny Boutwell.

Survivors: Sister: Eliscl Barden, Lincolnton

Daughter: Ranae Johnson, Frostproof, Fl

Numerous nieces and nephews including: Ramona Wallen, husband, Jim and family, Donna Dockery, husband, Austin and family, and Keith Barden, and  Janet English  and family

Grandchildren: Jeffrey Boutwell and Shawn Johnson

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Martins Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church.  Interment, with military honors, will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Harrell, Austin Dockery, Tristen Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Cory Barden and Tyler Barden

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7:00 until 9:00pm
