Wilma Katherine Bunch

Mrs. Wilma Katherine Bunch, 95 of Thomson Hwy., Washington, Ga. entered into rest on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Pruitt Health Care, Washington. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11 am at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. She and her twin brother, William were the youngest of twelve children born to the late Charles Creighton and Gertrude Scott Henderson of the Midway Community of Lincoln County. She attended Midway School and later graduated from Lincolnton High School in 1942. In 1956, she and her late husband George Allen Bunch moved their family to Washington where she has resided since. Many years ago, she worked as a sales clerk at Belk's and a secretary for the State Farm Insurance Agency in Washington. She was a member of Washington First United Methodist Church. Her interests included working in her yard and flower garden. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti Lindsey. She is survived by her son, William Allen Bunch and wife Betty Sue of Lincolnton; daughter, Janet Bunch of Lincolnton; son-in-law, Ronny Lindsey of Washington; grandchildren, Ellie Niezen and husband Michael, Jenny Callaway and husband Brandon, Jacob Lindsey and wife Martina; great- grandchildren, Cora Callaway and Nora Lindsey.
