Willie Maude Martin

Mrs. Martin, daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Towner Smallwood, was a native of Warren County. She had lived her most of her life here and had retired from Royal Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU, the music leader, and had served as children's leader for GA's and RA's both at Greenwood and Hephzibah Baptist Churches. Survivors include a daughter, Carol J. Smith & husband, Gary of Augusta and a son, Ralph A. Martin & wife, Joyce of Lincolnton, along with seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 6, 2012 from the Greenwood Baptist Church with Revs. Seaborn Dell and Paul Reviere officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her great-grandsons: Ryan Arnold, Paul Clifton, Adam Chastain, Chris Moore, and Gregory Moore, along with Alex Garcia. Friends may call at the residence of her son at 2584 Martin Bentley Road or from 6:00 until 8:00pm on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the funeral home
