Mr. William Clark Willingham, Jr., 84, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2022.
Clark was born in Augusta, Georgia on March 13, 1937, grew up in Augusta, Georgia, and moved to Thomson in 2004. He was Christian by faith and a member of First United Methodist Thomson. Clark enjoyed golfing, Georgia Football, Atlanta Falcon Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Willingham is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hughes Willingham; his parents, William Clark Willingham, Sr. and Tuelulla Center Willingham; and his brother, David Willingham. His survivors include his sons, William Clark Willingham, III of Thomson, Georgia, Clinton David Willingham (Debbie) of Dunn, North Carolina and Wesley Willingham of Thomson, Georgia; his grandchildren, Ashley Willingham, Lindsay Willingham and Clark Willingham; his great grandchildren, Donte Willingham, Tyler Willingham, Alana Willingham, Tristen Stang and Eric Stang; and his special companion, Patsy.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Westover Cemetery, Augusta, Georgia, being officiated by Dr. Steven Dodson. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home. Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
